Hedgehog Sorting Toy with Numbered Colourful Pieces

Finding a quiet activity for travel that keeps toddlers engaged is a common challenge.

Keeping young minds occupied during downtime often requires toys with multiple ways to play. This hedgehog toy offers a hands-on sorting and matching activity for early learners. The back of the hedgehog features designated slots for inserting the chunky, brightly coloured quills. Each quill has an embossed number from zero to nine, setting up basic counting activities.

Why is this hedgehog toy so popular?

• Numbered pieces: Each quill features a raised number to accommodate early counting practice.
• Colour matching: The distinct shades allow children to visually sort and group the pegs.
• Fine motor practice: Inserting the quills into the designated slots encourages hand-eye coordination.
• Self-contained storage: The main body opens to hold all the individual pieces when not in use.
• Chunky design: The wide pegs are sized for toddlers to hold and maneuver easily.
